Acceptable Use Policy | Hive Support

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines acceptable and prohibited uses of the Hivedec platform. All users (Creators, Supporters, Fans, Advertisers, Administrators, and Partners) must comply with this AUP. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination. See also the Terms of Service.

1. Purpose and Scope

2. Prohibited Content

You may NOT upload, distribute, share, or monetize any content that:

2.1 Adult Content and Services

Contains nudity, partial nudity, or exposed genitalia
Depicts sexual acts, intercourse, or fetish content
Includes sexually explicit audio, video, or written material
Promotes prostitution, escort services, or adult entertainment businesses
Features adult-oriented live chat or webcam services
Violates applicable obscenity laws in any jurisdiction

Exception: Artistic nudity in classical art contexts may be permitted with appropriate age-gating (18+ only) and content warnings, subject to human moderation approval.

2.2 Intellectual Property Violations

Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or monetization of copyrighted material
Pirated movies, music, books, software, or games
Leaked or unreleased content (albums, films, episodes)
Content that infringes trademarks, patents, or trade secrets
Circumvention of digital rights management (DRM) protections
Plagiarism or presenting others' work as your own

2.3 Violent Extremism and Hate Speech

Content promoting, encouraging, or celebrating unlawful violence
Hate speech targeting individuals or groups based on:
- Race, ethnicity, or national origin
- Religion or religious beliefs
- Gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation
- Disability or medical condition
- Immigration status
Terrorist propaganda or recruitment materials
Glorification of mass violence, shootings, or attacks
Gang-related violence or organized criminal activity

2.4 Harmful Activities

Self-harm, suicide encouragement, or eating disorder promotion
Dangerous challenges that risk serious injury or death
Illegal drug manufacture, sale, or consumption
Weapons trafficking or instructions for building weapons of mass destruction
Stalking, harassment, or threats of physical harm
Doxxing (revealing private information without consent)
Swatting or false emergency reporting
Human trafficking or exploitation
Animal abuse and torture (unless educational to spread awareness) will be reported to the authorities

2.5 Fraud and Deception

Phishing attempts or credential theft
Investment scams, pyramid schemes, or Ponzi schemes
Fake giveaways or lottery scams
Impersonation of individuals, celebrities, or organizations
Misrepresentation of identity, affiliation, or qualifications
Review manipulation or fake engagement schemes
Payment fraud or chargeback abuse

2.6 Malware and Security Threats

Malware, viruses, ransomware, or trojans
Exploits, hacking tools, or vulnerability disclosures
Credential stuffing or brute-force attack resources
Spam, phishing emails, or unsolicited bulk messaging
Botnets or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) tools

2.7 Child Safety

Any content involving minors in sexual situations (zero tolerance)
Child grooming or predatory behavior
Sexualization of children or child-like characters
Content depicting child abuse or exploitation
Solicitation of minors for inappropriate purposes
Promoting of ideologies that are harmful to children in any way (based on our discretion)

IMMEDIATE TERMINATION: Any content violating child safety policies results in immediate account termination and reporting to relevant authorities (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, law enforcement).

3. Prohibited Conduct

You may NOT engage in the following behaviors:

3.1 Abuse of Platform Systems

Automated scraping, botting, or unauthorized API access
Manipulation of metrics, views, followers, or engagement
Artificial inflation of coin transactions or virtual currency
Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
Exploiting bugs, glitches, or vulnerabilities
Reverse engineering or decompiling Platform software

3.2 Harassment and Bullying

Repeated unwanted contact or messaging
Threats, intimidation, or menacing behavior
Encouraging others to harass or bully
Posting embarrassing or private images without consent
Coordinated harassment campaigns or dogpiling
Revenge porn or non-consensual intimate imagery
Reporting/mass reporting of accounts without just cause

3.3 Impersonation

Pretending to be another person, celebrity, or organization
Using another creator's branding, name, or likeness
Misleading statements about affiliation with Hivedec
Impersonating Platform moderators or administrators
Fake government or law enforcement impersonation

3.4 Commercial Abuse

Unsolicited advertising or spam
Pyramid schemes or multi-level marketing solicitation
Cryptocurrency pump-and-dump schemes
Gambling promotion without proper licensing
Unauthorized affiliate marketing or referral schemes
Self-dealing (creators transacting with their own accounts)

3.5 Evading Enforcement

Appearing on another account after suspension/termination
Using proxies, VPNs, or anonymization tools to bypass bans
Tampering with content moderation systems
Retaliating against users who reported you
Coordinated efforts to circumvent Platform rules

4. Content Moderation Systems

4.1 Automated Detection

Hivedec employs automated systems to screen all uploaded content:

Google Cloud Video Intelligence API: Screens video/audio for adult/explicit content
Google Cloud Vision API: Analyzes images for prohibited content
Content Fingerprinting: Matches uploads against copyrighted work databases
Keyword Analysis: Scans metadata and transcripts for prohibited terms
Behavioral Analysis: Flags unusual patterns suggesting policy violations

4.2 Human Moderation

All flagged content undergoes human review by trained moderation teams:

Review occurs within 24 hours for high-severity reports
Review occurs within 72 hours for standard reports
Moderators follow detailed guidelines and escalation procedures
Appeals are reviewed by senior moderation staff or legal counsel

4.3 Content Classification

Uploaded content is classified into rating categories:

General: Suitable for all ages, no restrictions
Teen: May contain mild violence, language, or suggestive themes (13+)
Mature: Requires human review before publication (18+)
Restricted: Prohibited content, automatically blocked

5. Reporting Mechanisms

5.1 In-Platform Reporting

Every piece of content displays a "Report" button
Select violation category: Adult Content, Copyright, Hate Speech, Violence, Harassment, Spam, Other
Reports are logged immutably with timestamp and reporter information
High-severity reports trigger immediate content hiding pending review
Standard reports enter moderation queue

5.2 DMCA Takedown Portal

Rights holders may submit formal copyright takedown notices at dmca@hivedec.com or via the DMCA Portal
Required elements per DMCA Section 512(c):
- Physical or electronic signature of authorized person
- Identification of copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- Identification of infringing material with sufficient detail
- Contact information (address, phone, email)
- Statement of good faith belief that use is unauthorized
- Statement that information is accurate under penalty of perjury
Notices are processed within 3–5 business days
Counter-notices accepted from uploaders contesting claims

5.3 Escalation Channels

6. Enforcement Actions

6.1 Content Removal

Prohibited content is removed without advance notice
Removed content may not be reinstated
Uploaders receive notification explaining violation category
Appeal process available within 14 days

6.2 Account Suspension

Temporary Suspension (7–30 days):

Second violation receives 7-day suspension
Third violation receives 30-day suspension
Reduced monetization privileges for 30 days after suspension
Mandatory policy review course required

Permanent Termination:

Four or more violations result in permanent ban
Immediate termination for severe violations (child safety, terrorism, fraud)
All pending payouts may be forfeited
IP address blacklisted from re-registration
Referral to law enforcement if legal violations detected

6.3 Monetization Restrictions

Violating content is demonetized immediately
Revenue from violating content is withheld
Repeated violations lead to reduced revenue share percentages
Chronic violators are removed from Partner/Advertiser programs

7. Repeat Violator Tracking

7.1 Violation Ledger

Hivedec maintains an immutable ledger of all violations:

First violation: Warning + content removal
Second violation: 7-day suspension + policy education
Third violation: 30-day suspension + reduced monetization
Fourth violation: Permanent termination + blacklist

7.2 Related Account Detection

Accounts sharing device fingerprints, IP addresses, or payment methods are linked
Violations on one account affect all linked accounts
Attempted circumvention via alternate accounts accelerates termination timeline

7.3 Appeals Process

Appeal must be submitted within 14 days of violation notice
Written justification required explaining why action was wrongful
Senior moderation staff reviews appeals within 7 business days
Final determination is binding

8. Third-Party Integrations

8.1 Payment Processors

Users must comply with Stripe's Acceptable Use Policy
Violations of Stripe's policies may result in account termination
Fraudulent payment activity triggers immediate suspension

8.2 External Services

Linking to prohibited external sites is itself a violation
Embedding prohibited content from third parties is prohibited
Promoting services that violate this AUP is prohibited

9. Exceptions and Special Cases

9.1 News and Journalism

Legitimate news coverage of sensitive topics is permitted
Must include appropriate context and warnings
Not for gratuitous depiction of violence or adult content
Subject to editorial review upon request

9.2 Educational Content

Academic discussions of sensitive topics are permitted
Must serve clear educational purpose
Age-restricted if material is mature
Requires content warnings
Must have a warning label when raw content is published with the purpose of preserving history

9.3 Art and Expression

Artistic works with cultural or artistic merit may be permitted
Subject to human moderation review
Must not violate child safety or non-consensual intimacy prohibitions
Age-gating may be required

10. Compliance Audits

10.1 Quarterly Reviews

Hivedec generates quarterly compliance reports for auditors
Reports demonstrate adherence to DMCA and EU Directive 2001/29/EC
Audit trails preserved for minimum 7 years
Independent third-party audits conducted annually

10.2 Regulatory Cooperation

Full cooperation with law enforcement investigations
Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) filed where legally required
Compliance with lawful government requests documented
Transparency reports published quarterly

11. Policy Updates

11.1 Changes to This AUP

We reserve the right to modify this AUP at any time
Material changes announced via email and Platform notifications
Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised AUP
Users may opt-out by deleting their account

11.2 Emergency Updates

Immediate policy changes may be implemented for urgent safety concerns
Users notified retroactively when possible
Retroactive enforcement for severe violations only
