This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines prohibited content and conduct on the Hivedec Platform. It applies to Creators, Supporters, Fans, Advertisers, Administrators, and Partners. Violations may result in content removal, suspension, or permanent termination. See also the Terms of Service.
1. Prohibited content
1.1 Adult content and services
Nudity, pornography, sexually explicit material, escort/adult services, and adult webcam services are prohibited. Artistic nudity in classical art contexts may be permitted only with age-gating, warnings, and human moderation approval.
1.2 Intellectual property
Unauthorized copyrighted material, piracy, leaked unreleased works, trademark infringement, DRM circumvention, and plagiarism are prohibited. Rights holders should use the DMCA Portal.
1.3 Hate speech and violent extremism
Content promoting unlawful violence, terrorist propaganda, extremist ideology, or hate speech targeting protected characteristics is prohibited.
1.4 Harmful activities
Self-harm encouragement, dangerous challenges, illegal drugs/weapons trafficking, stalking, doxxing, swatting, and human trafficking are prohibited.
1.5 Fraud, malware, and child safety
Phishing, scams, impersonation, malware, spam, and any sexual content involving minors are prohibited. Child safety violations result in immediate termination and reporting to relevant authorities where required.
2. Prohibited conduct
- Scraping, botting, metric manipulation, or unauthorized API use
- Harassment, bullying, revenge porn, or coordinated dogpiling
- Impersonation of people, brands, moderators, or authorities
- Commercial spam, unlicensed gambling promotion, crypto pump schemes, and creator self-dealing
- Evading bans via alternate accounts, proxies, or tampering with moderation systems
3. Content moderation systems
- Automated screening may include video/image analysis, fingerprinting, keyword/transcript scans, and behavioral signals.
- Flagged content is reviewed by humans. Target SLAs: 24 hours for high-severity reports; 72 hours for standard reports.
- Content may be classified General, Teen (13+), Mature (18+), or Restricted (blocked).
4. Reporting mechanisms
- In-platform: Report button on content → category selection → immutable log. High-severity reports may hide content pending review.
- DMCA: Formal notices via the DMCA Portal or dmca@hivedec.com with signature, work identification, infringing material identification, contact information, good-faith belief, and perjury statement.
- Escalation: emergency@hivedec.com, legal@hivedec.com, abuse@hivedec.com, billing@hivedec.com.
5. Enforcement
- Prohibited content may be removed without advance notice. Uploaders receive an explanation and may appeal within 14 days.
- Progressive account sanctions typically escalate from warning → 7-day suspension → 30-day suspension → permanent termination, with accelerated action for severe violations.
- Violating content is demonetized; repeated violations may reduce revenue share or remove Partner/Advertiser privileges.
- Related accounts (shared devices, IPs, or payment methods) may be linked for enforcement.
6. Appeals
Appeals require written justification within 14 days of the notice. Senior moderation or legal counsel reviews within a target of 7 business days. Final determinations are binding under these Terms.
7. Third-party services & exceptions
Stripe and other processors' AUPs also apply. Legitimate news, educational, and artistic expression may be permitted with context, warnings, and age-gating, subject to human review and never overriding child-safety rules.
8. Compliance records
Reports, DMCA notices, and moderation actions are logged immutably for audit and regulatory documentation. We cooperate with lawful investigations and may publish transparency summaries.
9. Updates
We may update this AUP at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance. Emergency safety updates may take effect immediately.
